Where are you from?
How did you start DJing or what lead you to be a DJ?
I used to run a club night and discovered a talent for DJing!
Who influences you? Where do you draw inspiration from?
I'm influenced by the tastemakers, in particular female DJs and producers like Annie Mac, Miss Kittin and Grimes. Like these women, I take pride in being very technically skilled with my mixing and am able to blend different genres together with ease. I'm inspired by music which excites me and I like to find different ways to spin the current with the classic. I always aim to create an overall vibe with my sound, appropriate to wherever I'm playing.
What have you done in terms of gigs or projects?
I have supported artists including Tinie Tempah, Sigma and Sigala and played to crowds of up to 15,000 people, both in the UK and abroad. I am a festival regular and have played many top venues including Ministry of Sound, XOYO & Shepherd's Bush Empire. I have DJed for brands including MAC Cosmetics, Netflix, Sunseeker, London Fashion Week and Cosmopolitan Magazine. I also DJed a private aftershow for Beyonce and her team during her Mrs Carter World Tour in 2014.
What are you doing now in terms of gigs or projects?
I am in high demand for both club sets and private events. I have a main stage residency at Electric Ballroom in North London, where I play to 1000 people every week and various intimate residencies across London. I have just finished touring the country DJing for MAC.
What projects do you have lined up in the future?
Aside from my DJing, I am working with a producer, lending my vocals to a number of tracks, which will be released later this year.
